While in school getting a graphic arts degree, I used this domain to set up a portfolio website during my search for employment. The job came and subsequently I never had the time, energy, or reason to update the information – it wasn’t like anyone except spammers were visiting it anyway.
My move to Washington had me giving my email address out. I found out people were curious about my domain and started visiting here. Needless to say I was horrified that new friends were looking at an outdated, irrelevant, crappy site containing old work I was no longer proud of. I couldn’t imagine what they were thinking. Inspiration to update the site blossomed. I decided in early October to simply blog whatever little random thoughts came into my brain. There was no intention to make it publicly known that this is what I was doing. It was still a crappy site with no direction – but it was better than the prior site.
Who knew that just weeks later, this blog would have a purpose. The epic battle of Mutant Ninja Cells vs. Deborah is on. I plan to update my journey regularly and use this forum as “information central.” All good thoughts and prayers sent my way are always appreciated. Thank you so much for checking in on me.
